Limited Quantities, When They Are Gone They Are Gone!

You are the first to "gnome"

You asked… so I’m making it happen!

After I shared these fall gnomes, so many of you asked if I would put together a kit. I only have a limited number of the wood cutouts, so I decided to turn them into a small batch of DIY kits while they last.

Each kit makes two fall gnomes — one 10" and one 12" — and includes the main decorative supplies you’ll need, plus extra fall napkins so you can choose your favorite designs or have a backup if needed.

What’s Included in Your Kit

Each kit includes:

One 12" white wood gnome base
One 10" white wood gnome base
2 wooden noses
Raffia for both gnome beards
Twine for the bow
Burlap flower
Assorted fall napkins + extras so you can choose your favorites and have backups
Step-by-step instructions

You’ll need at home: Mod Podge or your favorite decoupage medium, scissors, glue, and paint if you’d like to change the color of your gnome bases.

How to Make Your Fall Gnomes

1. Choose Your NapkinsPick your favorite fall napkin designs for your two gnomes. I’ve included extras so you have plenty to play with — and a backup just in case!

2. Paint Your Gnome BasesYour wood gnome bases arrive white and ready to customize. Leave them white or paint them any color you’d like.

Paint the entire wood base so you don’t have to worry about exactly where your napkin will end. Allow the paint to dry completely before moving on.

3. Prepare Your NapkinsSeparate the printed top layer of your napkin from the plain backing layers. You’ll only use the thin printed layer for decoupage.

4. Add Your NapkinApply a thin, even layer of Mod Podge to the upper portion of your gnome. Carefully place the printed napkin layer over the surface and gently smooth it into place.

Allow it to dry completely, then carefully remove or trim away the excess napkin around the edges.

5. Make the Raffia BeardArrange the raffia until you have the fullness and length you like. Glue the raffia across the gnome where the napkin-covered section meets the lower painted portion.

Give that beard a little trim if needed — every gnome deserves a good hair day. 😉

6. Add the NoseGlue one wooden nose in the center of each gnome, positioning it slightly over the top of the raffia beard.

7. Add the Finishing TouchesUse the included twine and burlap flower to finish your gnomes. Follow my examples or switch things around and make them completely your own.

That’s it! Your two fall gnomes are ready for a tray, shelf, mantel or anywhere you want to add a little handmade fall charm.
