Supplies Needed
Peat pots
Orange acrylic paint
Brown acrylic paint
Paintbrushes
Small wood stems or twigs
Raffia
Ribbon of your choice
Greenery or ivy, optional

Peat Pot Pumpkins
How to make them:
Paint the peat pots orange. Let them dry completely.
Add the pumpkin ridges. Lightly brush brown paint along the natural grooves of the pots to add depth and make them look more like pumpkins.
Add a stem. Glue a small wood piece or stick to the top of each pumpkin.
Tie on raffia and ribbon. Make a simple bow around the stem using raffia, ribbon, or both.
Finish your pumpkin. Add a little greenery or ivy if you’d like, then arrange them together for an easy fall display.
Tip: Use different sizes of peat pots and slightly vary your paint shading so each pumpkin looks a little different.
Decorating Ideas
